LOL, Chris! Thanks everyone. I haven't post in a few days, because like Chris, I am swamped with work. I'm not complaining. I just haven't had the chance. :)

Thanks, Nicole and Carrie.

Okay. Just got home from the gym and I'm just sitting down to eat. I did 20 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the bike. I'm pooped.

But overall, I'm seeing some light at the end of the tunnel work-wise and by that I mean, I can breathe a little. I don't want the work to stop. But I did get my stuff done and I have at least one more trial to do. However, I also have work to do with my other company. So after I finished up the hearing this morning, I grabbed work for my company.

Off to finish my sub, then shower, then to bed! Hope everyone has a great night.

Sounds like a great name for the site at the moment, Chris!

Hope, you're doing fantastic!

I like it Chris.

Have been eating clean but not getting in as many workouts as I need to. Working full time out of the house and being a full time mom is certainly a challenge. Better planning on my part will make that better.

Working with the homeless population is starting to take a toll on me. My stress is at an all time high. I know a great way to help combat such huge stress..... hit the weights and get some kick but cardio in!

Day 10 UBWO

Wow, what a day. I got up, ate breakfast, and headed straight for my office to work. I worked up until lunch, had a grilled chicken salad, worked some more and then it was time to get Tyler from school. Came home and I did the UBWO. I tried to make it as intense as I possibly could. I just finished and now I'm going to type for another hour and a half and get Tyler to soccer practice, then back here to type some more.

I am slammed with work, but blessed to have it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm off to type! I have the most toned fingers in America! LOL

Day 9 Cardio and Abs

I didn't get up and get the cardio done first thing. I got up, ate breakfast, got ready, and started work. I'm slammed with work! (Blessed too with all the work.) So rather, I decided when I got Tyler home from school, I would finish up a track that had only 12 minutes on it and then do cardio and abs, AND I DID.

I was freezing at lunch time. So, I ate a bowl of tomato basil soup. Now, the sun is out here and it's warm. So, tonight after dropping Tyler off at soccer practice, I'm coming back here to fix a salad and work. We have a soccer tournament this weekend, so I have to get as much in as possible.

Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know, I did do the work out.

Have a great rest of the day.

Day 8 LBWO

I did not go to the gym tonight. Long story short, Tyler has a ton of homework. No worries. I went around the corner and picked up subs for all of us. It was fantabulous. About 30 minutes after I ate, I went upstairs and did a great LBWO. I guess I could have said, well, I'll do it tomorrow; however, no need to do that given the fact that since September that's how it's been.

Anyway, I just came downstairs and wanted to check in. I am getting ready to get a protein shake here at 7:30. Then, I'm headed to soak for a bit, do some Bible study and watch some TV. Have to get up extremely early in the morning. I need to get cardio and abs done first thing before getting Tyler up, then shower, getting ready and work.

Hope everyone has a great night!

Day 8 LBWO

We are headed to the gym tonight. Tyler has to train for cross country by running on the treadmill. So, while he's on the treadmill, I will be doing LBWO. Will post when we get home.

Day 6 Cardio and Abs

Not done! Sorry guys, my house has gone far too long without really being cleaned. We got up at 7:00 this morning and it is now 6:17. We just finished about an hour or so ago. My feet are throbbing, I smell of Clorox and cleaning products and I'm really exhausted. Oh yeah, I am still quite sore from my LBWO and cardio and abs from this past week. My calves are screaming. So, we ordered dinner out and Robert has gone to get it.

Needless to say, I had a ton of energy today and got it done. So excited. Anyway, Monday is a new day!

Have a great one!

Day 5 UBWO

Started off the day with breakfast, one red potato shredded into hashbrowns and eggs. Working on my third bottle of water right now.

Finished my UBWO just about five minutes ago. Feeling so much better since I am only having one Diet Pepsi a day for my caffeine. I don't feel lethargic or tired. I only feel tired after I've typed all day!

My lunch is going to be a grilled chicken salad again. I absolutely devoured the one I ate last night after getting home from the gym. I have to run up to Dollar General (a block from the house) to get some AA batteries. We go through so many batteries in this house it's not funny, but I have a wireless mouse and it requires them and then Tyler uses them for his Xbox controller. Then when I get back from Dollar General, it's off to work! I am truly blessed to have the work I have and it keeps rolling in.

I wanted to share one of my devotions from this morning:

“[Trials and Temptations] Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3 NIV

To me this speaks volumes. Every devotion I've had since September has been related to the situation we are going through. Just wanted to share.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Day 4 Cardio and Abs

I did go to the gym around 6:30. I ran for five minutes on the treadmill, walked for five minutes and then got on the bike and rode six miles, at a pace of 70 to 75 rpm's. Was pleased. Did ab work and then came home. Just finished eating a grilled chicken salad which was absolutely delicious.

Off to soak because my hamstrings, calves and thighs are on fire from my LBWO yesterday. Have a great one.

Day 4 Cardio and Abs

We, as a family, will be going to the gym tonight. Really excited about that. :) I'll post when we're done. I'm off to get ready then start work.

Have a great day.

Day 3 LBWO

Well, I got up this morning, ate eggs and one red potato served as hashbrowns. It was delicious. I had a protein shake for my second meal and in a few, I'm headed to get a sub sandwich. Can't wait. I'm starving. That's a good thing, I think.

I just finished my workout and I need to get ready. I had a trial to finish early this morning. I was so glad to get it complete and I invoiced out for it as soon as I sent it. Even though we're going through all this mess, we are truly blessed. I am thankful for everything, even the bad times. I know this will make me stronger.

I've stayed true to my one Diet Pepsi a day; however, yesterday afternoon, I had one of the worst caffeine headaches I've ever had. I dropped Tyler off at soccer practice, came home and got in the bed. I tried drinking water to get rid of it; however, it didn't work. When Tyler got home with Robert, I asked him to go outside to the refrigerator in the garage and get me a Diet Pepsi so I could take some migraine medicine. Tyler said, "you can only have a sip to take the medicine and that's it." Love him! He knows I'm working on cutting out the drinks altogether.

Hope everyone has a great day, I'm off to get ready and go around the corner to the little sub shop and get me a sub on whole wheat.

Have a great day.

Day 2 Cardio and Abs

Yesterday my eating could have been better, but going from hardly eating and drinking six to eight Diet Pepsi's a day will take a few days of adjustment. I did have one Diet Pepsi yesterday and the rest of the day I drank water, eight 16-ounce bottles to be exact.

I just finished cardio and abs. I went upstairs this morning and got on my elliptical. About five minutes into the workout, I reached down to drink my water; however, I realized I had grabbed my Diet Pepsi bottle instead. Luckily Robert had just come in from walking the dog. I yelled for him to bring me the water bottle that was on the counter. Now, on to making myself eating clean and cleaner every day. Working on my second bottle of water and will be into the third in just a bit.

Off to work. Hoping everyone has a great day.

All is well here. Cold out there though,20F at high noon. I need to go out and get the snowblower going so I can get out the front door. I have hired a guy to do the drive, but I am sure I can get the rest of it done.

Colleen, I am sorry to hear that you are still not well. Maybe you need a snowey vacation. Come on over and we will get you into shape. :O) I reall miss you on here. I hope you are here more often.

Wendy, Amanda will get back to you. She is just busy @ work and she said she is still trying to get her time line fixed.(2hours diff.) and she was getting up late while she was home. She has started going to the gym again so that is good. She is off to Pounta Canta(SP) in March so needs to be bathing suit ready.

I hope you are all meeting your goals and eating clean.

Love to you all,

Day 1 UBWO

This is not a 12-week challenge for me. This is a rest-of-my-life challenge. I just put days on it to see how far I've come from where I used to be.

I did get my workout in this morning as I promised myself. Things are still tough here, but I feel better that I was able to get some stress relief from my workout. I have a ton of work to do, and am very thankful for that.

I know that I am blessed beyond words, but the pain is there and will be there for some time. I have faith that God will comfort us during this time.

I hope everyone has a great day. I'm off to work.

I am almost two weeks late starting my workouts. I can honestly say I've never been or seemed so helpless in all my life. Our New Years was one of the worst I think we've ever had in our 23 years of marriage or in my 45 years of life. Ever since September 15th of last year our world has been turned upside down. On New Years Eve, it all came to a head.

For two weeks (and really since September of last year) I've cried almost non-stop. I've slept little to none and I've eaten little to none. The pain is almost to much for me. This past Sunday while at church, I went down and spoke to the pastor at the end. I cried and prayed for guidance and God's help, grace, peace and anything else in between. The last few days, I've been at peace and even managed to have two days in a row of eight hours of sleep each. I have been reminded by Exodus 14:14, The Lord will fight for you, you only need to be still. I have faith in God that He is going to do what He needs to do. Still the pain is there and still it hurts. I'm not going to say what it is, nor do I want anybody to put anything on my Facebook at all. It's been a very difficult situation here and it's one I pray God will resolve so we can move on. I have faith He will, but in His time and not mine.

So, last night while I was taking Tyler to soccer practice, I told Robert that I was tired of crying all the time. I told him that I really needed to get myself together and get back into the gym. While I haven't gained any weight, I also haven't lost, but I have expanded some (not happy about that). Robert reminded me I have to take care of me so I can be at my healthiest to help me get through this, and he's right. I even said the same thing to him last night.

So, Monday, no excuses. My workouts have to begin. I have to remain focused in everything I do, to keep a clear mind so I can make good decisions and the best decisions as needed. Please pray for me as I restart this journey and also pray for this situation. We need all the prayers we can get and I'm a firm believer in the power of prayer. Never underestimate the power of prayer!

Thanks so much for all the support. I don't have a specific goal in mind but just to get myself started and to post on a daily basis. I'm off to soak for a bit and in the bed I go. Have a good night!

I JUST LOVE YOU ALL!!! Every time I take off for long periods of time I come back and this place is hopping!!!!!!!

I am getting over a Respiratory tract infection so I still feel pretty louzy. These are my goals. JAN. 15th I will start my 12 CHALLENGE,
then I will swap gears and start training for a triathalon I have yet to pick. After that, I will increase running and try to get my 26 weeks of running in for a marathon towards the end or beginning of fall. I really need to lay this out on the calender. I may have to swap things around, depending on races available, how close they are and what looks good. I am hoping to have my road bike looking at the 2011 Fuji Roubaix 3.0 Road Bike CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did start weaning myself off coffee, and only drink a cup or two a day, and the rest is water. HUGE HUGE HUGE for me. I have lots to accomplish this year. I hate how i look and feel. Seems like I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Hope - thanks! Yes I was aware as soon as it happened. Never had that happen to me as long as i've had an email account.

Heard from TONY the other day. Had his surgery and I think he is gearing up to kick some butt with his workouts as well. He just has to take it slowly!

COLLEEN, KIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU LADIES, LOVE YOU LADIES, LOVE YOU LADIES!

Love ya mean it!
Wendy
