Hi All,

I am starting week 10 of my challenge. Last week was ok - the exercise part was fine, but I did have a few indescretions with my eating. I know why - I was complacent and didn't write out a meal plan, I was having a moment of 'this isn't working so who cares?' and lastly because it is TOM. Not excuses - but I can at least identify what caused me to slip up.

So this week I have written out my meal plan for the week - and I will stick to it.

Brianna has a cold at the moment, which means that there is an increased likelihood of me catching her cold. This is not acceptable because it will upset my challenge - and it is my wedding anniversary this weekend! So I am taking vitamins, upping the water and I am going to make sure I get to bed on time. Hopefully that will be enough to keep the bug away!

I'm just popping in real quick to relate a funny story. I have a killer headache (day 3), so I'll read back later.

I just got my products in today (thanks for the votes *smile*). I opened it and Rachael saw the chocolate protein powder. "Isn't that your friend on the front?" "yes, that's Homer." Then she proceeded to do a perfect imitation of him when he was up top here, right down to the "ooooh" -- it was so funny. Did you know that laughing out loud can make your head hurt more? It does.

xoxoxo

Hugs Wendy.

My legs are pretty wobbly today, so I know good stuff was happening yesterday. Tony inspired me with his workout report so I had to kick my butt in gear. Love hearing about everyone kicking butt with the food discipline as well as the workouts. YEEEHAAAWW let's keep it revved gang!

I'll have to read back later. After the funeral we had to put my grandma in the ER for heart problems, her meds are acting screwy, or she just isn't adjusting well to them Been on them 2 weeks. Anyway so I delayed my coming home and visited her in the hospital "JUST IN CASE" hate to drive 4 hours home ot have to turn around and go back but she is doing fine, just needs to change her meds. I'm tired, frustrated, and I get home and find that work I thought was finished, that I crammed to finish before I left hadn't been proofed well by my client, I send it off and they find tons of errors. Which is kinda screwy anyway cause it's articles that THEY WRITE, so they should already have been checked and spell checked and read over before they even give them to me, but they don't and therefore we run into problems. SO! There you have it. Frustrated tired, havn't worked out in 4 days, and I have a ginourmous headache!

LOVE YA MEAN IT!
Wendy

P.S. Chris, thanks got it bro!

IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!

And, I got my second place prize package yesterday. Thank you Chris and our BTF sponsor for the prizes. I'll have to try the products when I am off this diet since it is not a whole food for me.

Day 12 and I have not had one cheat on my diet. That might be a record for me, I'm not sure. I occassionally had something off program, but not this time. A whole food diet is a bit restrictive so I'm really impressed with myself.

As far as the competition, I guess we can just leave it to our designated accountability partners. We can always compare results at the end for added motivation. You are all so motivating to me already just hearing about your workout routines.

And Kathy, I am already thinking of what to get you as your prize whether you have better results than me or not. ; )

My cousin and I are starting our walking program outside this Sunday. Hopefully the fog we have been experiencing will be lifted by then. We are looking at 50 degree temps all next week. We still have a lot of snow where I live but the roads are now clear so it is finally safe to walk/run. Yeah!!!

Okay, back to work. I hope you all have a GREAT weekend! Talk to you next week.

Ina

Kathy, just working our butts off sounds good to me.(because my butt needs to be worked off)

I had one of those mind blowing cardio sessions yesterday, followed by AB work, I was left completely wiped out, asking myself "is this really good for me" ? after I was able to get to my feet the answer was a resounding "DAMN RIGHT IT IS" !! This morning legs are sore and ABs are shouting at me with each bend I make here at the school today. UB today after work, always like UB days the best.
Stay Strong everyone, hit it hard today, TGIF !
