Hi all,
Ina, that sounds like a great idea. How about it Tony and Carrie? Game on???Ina you could never let me down. I am fighting not to let you down.:O)
Workout for today is in the books(or on the calendar). It was hard today as it is absolutely Fantastic out there. I was out talking to a neighbor and I only had my workout clothes on. So nice to have the warmth of the sun on your face.
I do like the curling and of course Hockey sometimes. Growing up in a house with 4 brothers and being a Canadian, Hockey is a part of our growing up. Curling became a passion when Doug and I got married and he was an avid curler.
Until tomorrow.
Love to you all,
Kathy B |

Kathy B: You seem to like team sports. Why don't we propose a team challenge to Team Torrie? That could be fun, interesting, challenging. They sure would keep us on our toes!
Kelly: What a smart daughter you have there. As you know, I have the UTMOST respect for the nursing profession. Thank you for the great quotes too!
Steve: You should have some "insane" results with your new challenging workout. : )
Mike: Hey, I do real estate too. We have so much in common with each other on this site. : )
Wendy: I'm so sorry for your loss sweetie. Thoughts and prayers go out to you!
I'm doing great on my whole food diet and my weight is coming down nicely. My workouts could be a little stronger but I am just working so many hours right now it can get difficult to fit everything in. It's important though and I am not going to let Kathy down no matter what!
I hope you all are having a GREAT week!

Kelly,
Fantastic Post. Thank you so much for sharing. :O)
I slept in again this morning. Waking up to find Doug standing over me. he startled actually. :O) He said"about time sleepy head" I got up and had a good breakfast of oatmeal and will get the UBWO done this aft.
I have been watching the Brier. Not too bad this year. Alot of new faces. I really think Alberta or Ontario is going to take it away. Nova Scotia gave Alberta a run for it's money yesterday with taking 5 in one end. I was doing my workout so I forget what end it was.
Mike good to see you back here. Also good tohear that you are figuring things out.
Hope you all have a great day will check in later.
Love to all,
Kathy B |

Chris: Know you are loved!
I need my Body Team Focus...especially the Focus part. My workouts are okay, when I get to them. There's craziness going on in my life on all fronts. My daughter got a decent job at a nursing home in my home town. After being there a year, they will help her pay for school to become an RN. Then she'll have to commit to two years working there as an RN. Then she plans on working in an ER. I thought she said something profound the other day. She was telling me about her husband and all his dreams. His dream had been to move to Texas and become a rancher. Then his plans fell through. She didn't want to move out there and then end up with nothing to show for it. She realized that all his dreams centered around Texas. She told him, "Don't hang your dreams on a place; center them on a lifestyle." Then, in Sunday School last Sunday, we were talking about what we should do as people of God. A senior in high school told all of the adults not to focus on having certain accomplishments (for God) by the end of their lives. Instead, focus everyday on living a Godly life. Very profound, as well. So, the new focus of my life will be a focus on the lifestyle I want (being healthy and showing God's love whenever I can). I still plan on competing in April. It will be fun (I hope). It's one of those things I've just got to do once in my life. It's akin to wanting to run a marathon for some people (that seems to be a very popular one, not just here, but in life in general).
I'm off to Williamsburg for the day with my best friend, her children, and Rachael. We are going to the Yankee Candle Store (I will have to hold my nose to keep from getting a headache). They have an area devoted to Christmas and snow periodically falls from the ceiling, which looks like the nighttime sky. There's a nice toy store there and Rachael is hoping to find the Breyer Horse of her dreams.
Have a great day. Sorry I haven't checked in lately. I'll try to be better.

Insanity is going well. I am way out of shape. I think anyone that does a lot of yoga and cardio/step classes can jump right in. People that do weights and running, biking, swimming are going to really struggle with the balance and pace. That's me in a nutshell. |
